Mindfulness in woodland

Spending time in a woodland can help people experience the benefits from connecting with nature, an innate need linking back to our ancestry. By giving your full attention to nature for a few hours you’ll be sure to experience the benefits. We hope you will accept this invitation to embark on a journey of mindfulness within the tranquil surroundings of our ancient woodland.

The objective of the sessions is to deepen appreciation of nature and discover how tuning into nature helps you tune into yourself. Being more in tune with ourselves helps us become more in tune with others and the wider world.

Susan Collini, a qualified mindfulness in woodlands practitioner will lead the sessions, during which you’ll learn how to use your senses to tune into the sights, sounds and scents in different areas of the woodland. With practice it’s possible to promote co-connection between woodland and self that can deliver inner calm and promote positive emotions.

If you want to have a chat about the sessions please phone Susan Collini direct on 01832 733457 or phone/text 07799 892900. Don’t feel worried about asking what might seem a silly question,we’re here to help.

Sessions run 10.30 – 12.30 on Mondays. You can book for a single session for £15, or attend for the block of 3 for £30 (recommended). To book for one or all of the sessions please complete the form and we’ll be in touch.
